After spending over 30 years in the U.S. Diplomatic Service, I retired and returned to New Mexico to pursue my art.  For the past several years, I have studied oil painting from a  well-known local artist, taken courses through the Harwood Art Center as well as the New Mexico Art League.  I am a member of the Corrales Society of Artists.

 

During my time in the Foreign Service, I spent the last 17 years in Africa where I was inspired by the wonderful Masaai living in Kenya, the Tauregs from Niger and the scenery and the Native Americans living in New Mexico.

 

While working with the U.S. Department of State, I have lived and worked in Europe, the Philippines, Mexico and throughout the African continent.  I currently live in Corrales, New Mexico.
