I was born and raised in Gallup, New Mexico which influenced me in many ways.  My love for the southwest and natural beauty of the earth and nature combined with the wonderful colors and shapes of the Native American art I saw all around me drives my need to create.  About 30 years ago, my long-time love of beads compelled me to start doing beadwork as an outlet for my creative side.  I enjoy gathering the components and letting them tell me what they want to be.  Each piece of my art is distinctively crafted and incorporates a striking and jubilant use of color and texture.  I create intricate beaded bracelets, bolo ties, hair clips, earrings, brooches/pins, and an occasional framed work.
